Farm's History

Topview Acres is situated in the Parkland region of Manitoba along the Duck Mountain Provincial Park boundary near Grandview. Our family has always been involved in mix farming. My grandparents raised purebred Shorthorn cattle. My parents, Jack & Gail continued in the Shorthorn business, before crossing with the Maine Anjou breed. Topview Acres was successful raising Maine Anjou cattle and has won many major shows in Canada and the USA throughout the years.

As the markets grew for black cattle, our Maines were crossed with Black Angus, producing excellent maternal cows and top grading steers. We have now been breeding purebred Black Angus for twenty years. By using embryo transplants, AI and the best breeding bulls we can find, we are building a top notch quality purebred herd.
